Hi, my name is Erin and I'm really excited about writing this journal! A part of me still can't believe that I'm actually pregnant! I'm 22 and living with my boyfriend, Jason, who is 26, in Vancouver, Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.

I'm a graduate from the Preconception.com diaries, where I stayed for eight months. Our road to conceiving our first child started a little over 17 months ago. After living together for three years we decided that we wanted to add one more to our "family." We adopted two sister kittens a year and a half ago, Meeps and Mao. I went off birth control pills back in November of 1998 and we decided to not prevent pregnancy but to "actively" start trying after my 21st birthday in May. The following year would be one long rollercoaster ride. I was having very irregular periods and I knew I wasn't ovulating as I was charting my temps. To make a very long story short, I had to wait the full year of being off BCP to get in to see a GYN. She immediately put me on Clomid. I had to do three cycles, each one increasing the dosage because I still wasn't ovulating. Then finally in March on 150 mg I not only ovulated but conceived!! I'm sure this baby will be well worth the wait!

As I write this, I'm currently nine and a half weeks and my estimated due date is December 5.
