I am Khy, 27, married to dh Matthew, 33, and mother to three wonderful blessings, Ashley (10), Joshua (8), and Jonathan (7). Dh and I have been married 9 years as of last Jan. We are expecting baby number 4 around early to mid July of 2002 (edd 07-15-02) and our whole family is thrilled! We spent that last four and a half years trying to reverse our infertility after a hasty choice left us w/o the ability to expand our family. We have traveled this long journey together as a family, including loosing a little one who waits for us in heaven, and now we share the anticipation and preparations together.

I would like to add to my journal a little about our family, just so you understand my day to day posts better, and then perhaps a little about what we went through to get where we are now. I will include this information in my next few posts. If you are interested in hearing about our journey, which includes teen motherhood, an evil almost stepmother, a vasectomy decision, a disabled son (autistic), a mid-life career change (involuntary), the decision to home school, a failing special ed department, a vas reversal vacation, an extended family that does not support us in our desire to have more children, and a miscarriage, it will be told in brief (using the term loosely) w/in the next couple of posts.

Please, I would love to discuss any of my experiences and only ask that you remain respectful-and I will hold myself to the same standard. May those of you ttc be blessed very soon with a little miracle; may those who are expecting have a healthy pregnancy, birth, and baby; may those of you with children enjoy and cherish this special time in your life and theirs. I certainly look forward to sharing this time with all of you.
