Hi everyone,

My name is Nicole and my DH's name is Bill. We met while working as waiters at the Cheesecake Factory in Brentwood, CA (the infamous O.J. Simpson locale). We were married in an Orthodox Christian ceremony in Newport Beach December 28, 1997. I am currently 30 years old and Bill is 27. During our first year of marriage, while Bill was studying at law school, I worked as a human resources associate in a major finance firm. After Bill passed the CA Bar Exam and began his legal career in real estate transactions and finance, I was able to quit my dead-end job and become a homemaker. We recently purchased and moved into a new house (well, 'new' to us, at least) in Long Beach in late December 1999, so we are currently kept very busy with remodeling.

We started TTC in August of 1999. However, we weren't exactly vigilant in the timing of our official attempts. We thought it would just happen when it was meant to happen. Nevertheless, I was disappointed each time I got AF. Christmas 1999 came, and we were too busy celebrating our second anniversary, Bill's birthday and our new home to worry about TTC. A few weeks ago (early January 2000), I began feeling a little 'off,' and, much to my husband's delight, my breasts were swollen. I took two pregnancy tests, and I tested positive both times! My EDD is September 21, 2000.

Bill and I are very excited to start a family! We are looking forward to raising our children in a strong, Christian home. This will be the first grandchild to our folks and the first great-grandchild in the entire family. This child will be very loved! We pray that everything goes well and really believe that it will.
