Question:
I know that weight gain is inevitable during pregnancy, but it seems like a lot of the weight is visible in my face. Is there a way to minimize the fact that I've gained weight in my face with makeup or hairstyle strategies? – Rosanna, San Juan
Answer:

Using ice cold sponges or a soft cloth on your face in the morning will help minimize swelling in the face and around eyes. You should leave this treatment on for two to three minutes. You may also contour your face with a bronze powder (matched to your skin tone) along the jaw line and under the chin.

Depending on the length of your hair, it can be tucked close behind one or both ears or if short it can be cut wispy and worn forward, close to the face. Each of these options should create a more vertical line when combined with fullness on top, thus slenderizing the appearance of the face.
