Question:

I just recently heard about a pregnancy survival kit. What is it and where can I get one?
Answer:

There are many knock-offs, but The Original Pregnancy Survival Kit is made by Belly Basics, who also makes a complete line of cotton/lycra products. The kit includes four cotton/lycra pieces, and comes in a spring or fall version. The pieces include a short or long sleeve tunic, a legging, a short slim skirt and a long or short sleeve dress. All the pieces are one, usually basic, solid color for maximum versatility in being able to pair each piece in the kit with every other piece in the kit or with pieces in your non-maternity wardrobe. The fall colors available include black, charcoal and plum. The short sleeve version is currentlly available in black, with limited quantities of periwinkle blue, but, come the spring, they will expand the short sleeve color options. The price of the kit varies from place to place, but usually will be around $152. It is also a very popular gift item, as it comes nicely packaged in a box with a carrying handle. You can currently purchase the kit at the Anna Cris Maternity Online Boutique (http://www.annacris.com), or call Belly Basics directly at 1-800-4-9-MONTHS.
