Interior Design has been a life-long passion which I turned into a full time career 7 years ago. My business is based on the belief that our homes need to be a safe, relaxing, nurturing and functional haven from the fast-paced world in which we live. Each individual in the home needs a private space, no matter how small, to call their own and to retreat to for quiet time. I strive to assist in understanding individual lifestyle and creating a home to support that lifestyle. Personal color and style preferences need to be identified and "harmony" in all elements needs to be created.

I affirm each individual's right to make choices, and encourage taking the time necessary to feel comfortable with those choices. I act as the fine-tuner to assure the design adheres to basic design principles and am the facilitator to assure the project is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Nancy Phillips LeRoy is the President / Senior Designer of SPECIAL SPACES, Ltd., an interior design studio specializing in residential projects located near her home in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, a suburban area of Harrisburg. SPECIAL SPACES, Ltd. projects range from one time consultations, to assisting in getting a project started, to whole house renovations and redecorations. Additionally, Nancy is certified as a Master of Window Fashion Design.

Nancy has previously had careers in Real Estate sales and Association Management, and for the past 25 years, has served as a volunteer on various community committees and boards. She has three grown children, two grown step children and six grandchildren, ranging in age from two months to 14 years.
